What is Microneedling?
Also known as Skin Needling, this treatment uses very fine needles to create micro-channels within the skin. This control injury stimulates the skin's natural repair response to essentially rebuild the skin from the inside out.
This includes natural collagen production and skin renewal, and may be recommended for treating the appearance of acne scarring, signs of ageing such as fine lines, pigmentation and uneven texture.

Skin Needling creates a control response within the skin so some recovery is expected.
How your skin responds and the amount of downtime varies from person to person. During your consultation, and before each subsequent visit, we will discuss what you may experience after the treatment, any potential risks and any specific aftercare required.
Supporting your skin post Microneedling
We recommend the Express Enzyme Facial to all Skin Needling clients, 5-7 days post skin needling. For added rejuvenation, we recommend adding LED onto your Express Enzyme Facial.
This shortened treatment incorporates the Dermaviduals Enzyme Peeling Mask and helps with recovery and results.

Why do I have to have a consultation before Skin Needling?
Skin Needling is a clinical treatment and not a treatment that is suited to everyone. We don't believe any treatment should be booked simply because you have seen it online or heard it will "fix" a particular skin concern.
Your consultation allows us to accurately assess your skin to ensure it is an appropriate treatment for you and there is no apparent risk of complications.
It also allows you to understand how the treatment works, what will happen during your session, any potential risk and the aftercare involved, before you make this decision.
How many Skin needling treatments will I need?
The amount of sessions depends on what your concern is, your skin health and how it responds to treatment. Skin Needling is most effective when completed in a course of treatments, not as a one off. There is no magic number that suits everyone.
During your consultation, your skin expert will discuss the ideal treatment plan, however this may change depending on the above mentioned factors.
Does Skin Needling hurt?
This is everyone's favourite question and the answer is.. it's different for everyone.
Most clients describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful, but everyone's pain threshold is different and this will be discussed during your consultation.
Is there downtime?
